Award-winning independent movie filmed in St. Augustine is streaming live

According to an article in the St. Augustine Record:

D.O.A., an independent film noir filmed in St. Augustine can now be viewed on Apple TV, Amazon, Google Play, VUDU, and YouTube.

However, I could not find a FREE version. Amazon and YouTube have a “rent or buy” version. I don’t know about the others. I assume they are the same.

The article continues:

Filmed entirely in America’s oldest city by resident director Kurt St. Thomas, its backdrop includes the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum; The Lightner Museum; The Fountain of Youth; Magnolia Street; The Bridge of Lions; Evergreen Cemetery; and the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park.
The 1950 thriller won a Special Jury Award for Production and a Spirit of Independents Award at its premiere at last year’s Fort Lauderdale Film Festival and sold-out Flagler College’s Lewis Auditorium during the St. Augustine Film Festival.
“I broke a lot of rules making D.O.A. and I’m glad I did,” said St. Thomas in a recent press release. “The first was to make a movie and then a film noir. Was it easy? No. It’s never easy to make an independent film on a micro-budget. But St. Augustine was so welcoming and had a beautiful backdrop. We ended up making the city a character. I could have never made this movie in Hollywood.”
